Schloss Strauweiler

Originally a castle, close to Altenberg Abbey, 21 km as the crow flies, but 30 km with the e-bike (and back again). Fairly cold. On any other day I could have saved about 5 km, but due to two Karrnevalszüch there were some detours.

After a few weeks of rest in the fridge our sourdough still worked well

After 8 hours at 28 C the starter had almost doubled. The dough proved over night in the fridge. My cuts were too shallow though, the rolls burst also at other points.

Kleinschnittger F 125

The vehicle was built in #Arnsberg between 1950 and 1957 in a quantity of just under 3,000 units. It had a 1-cylinder two-stroke engine and weighed 150 kg. The “F” stood for front-wheel drive, the “125” for the cubic capacity. With 6 hp, the #Kleinschnittger reached a top speed of 60 km/h. The vehicle was lifted and turned for turning.
