Some pictures of #Arnsberg

The classicist buildings are a remnant of the Prussian time. After the congress of Vienna the duchy of Westphalia (together with the Rhineland) went to Prussia.

A narrow cobblestone street winds through a quaint town with historical buildings and a prominent church tower featuring a clock.

A misty, overcast view of a town features traditional houses and a church with a distinctive spire, surrounded by a hilly landscape.

Kleinschnittger F 125

The vehicle was built in #Arnsberg between 1950 and 1957 in a quantity of just under 3,000 units. It had a 1-cylinder two-stroke engine and weighed 150 kg. The “F” stood for front-wheel drive, the “125” for the cubic capacity. With 6 hp, the #Kleinschnittger reached a top speed of 60 km/h. The vehicle was lifted and turned for turning.

The photo captures a bright sun shining over a landscape with scattered trees and patches of grass.

A landscape view features a series of wind turbines on distant hills, with silhouetted tree branches in the foreground.

Such a glorious day. The contrast between sun and shadow was stark. Snow mostly gone, but the pistes and toboggan run were active and full, as were the parking lots with Dutch and German cars.

Another Sunday

Another set of rolls. Dropped the hydration a little bit, fermented overnight in the fridge, both of which led to MUCH easier forming.

6 craggy rolls waiting to be eaten, nicely goldish, dusted with flour, crags formed from not completely closing the roundling

Very craggy

Very curious what the taste of these baguette 🥖 will be like. The fermentation was overnight on the counter instead of the fridge. The dough was very soft and didn’t keep the shape as well as before.

Three shortish darkish craggy baguette on a cooling rack, maybe 2 minutes too long in the oven, smelling very good

Pizza night

Optimised the dough recipe, 66% hydration, 1 g dried yeast on 360 g of flour.

And, if I say so myself, both the pizza tonno and the prosciutto were excellent. Forgot to take pictures though, so picture something appropriately perfect.
